Portfolio Mortgage Company provides competitively priced first mortgage commercial property loan finance to businesses and investors throughout New Zealand.

Portfolio Mortgage Company lends on a wide range of completed commercial properties.  Loans may be up to 65% of the value of commercial property, with loan sizes ranging up to $5 million. Should your requirements exceed these parameters, Portfolio Mortgage Company is happy to assist with arranging additional third party finance.

Loans are typically interest-only and may have a fixed or floating interest rate. Loans over $1 million may be split into fixed and floating interest rate portions if desired.

Unlike finance companies, Portfolio Mortgage Company does not raise funds from the general public and has not been affected by the liquidity issues facing many other lenders in recent years.

Funding is predominantly sourced through a committed credit line provided by mortgage funds administered by OnePath (NZ) Limited. OnePath (NZ)Limited is owned by ANZ National Bank Limited.

Portfolio Mortgage Company's funding arrangements enable it to offer interest rates and fees which are competitive with, and in some cases lower than, New Zealand banks. So if you are talking to your bank about commercial property finance then talk to us also.
